Yoga Gets Off the Mat to Fight New York's Tax Man!

They are saying that yoga will be getting off of the mats to go and fight tax man. It is said that yoga businesses are being basically shut down or that they will have to pay more for the class! People are saying that Yoga should be considered as Fitness Centers instead of just movement spaces! And that a sales tax rate is of 4.5%. Auditors are started to show up in January and fining studios back taxes as much as three years prior to now. People are saying that since they are doing this with out telling them that they feel like it is inappropriate. A spokesman for New York says that it is fair that they are doing this because Yoga is being considered as a business!

I think that this is a weird situation because I thought that yoga was not a business, I thought it was just a class that people go to exercise...
