South West Airlines

A man was en route from one of his business trips that he had to do to go to  his daughters house in Denver to visit his 3 year old grandson for the very last time ever! The 3 year old boy was beaten into coma by his mother boyfriend who is living with them currently. The little boy is being taken off of life support at 9P.M so that they can use his organs and what not to save other people lives. The daughters father's wife had called the South West Airline to setup a last minute flight for him. The man had been stuck in L.A's traffic and waiting in the lines at LAX, which caused him to not be able to make it to the gate on time. When he made to the gate 12 minutes after was scheduled to leave and fly away, he found the plane sitting there waiting for him, he was shocked on the outcome and what the pilot had said to him... This is what the pilot said “They can’t go anywhere without me, and I wasn’t going anywhere without you. Now relax. We’ll get you there. And again, I’m so sorry.”

I think that this story is a really sad story to hear!!! I am glad that the pilot had made the decision to wait for him and not be a jerk and just fly off!!! I really liked this article :)
